I enjoy riding Horses and ATVs. I really enjoy time in the Mtns with my family I have been able to be with each of my kids and my wife when they have harvested an elk and a deer and a turkey and have been with one of my grandsons when he shot his first turkey. I have followed a pack of hounds all over Utah chasing cougar I have caught hundreds but only harvested 1.

I retired after 33 years with UDOT as shop supervisor. Hired on at Barnes Bullets as a press operator 3 weeks later and have been at that for 2 years.

I have been on the state board of the National Wild Turkey Federation for 22 years I have been the JAKES chairman, state vise-president and am now the save the hunt cord. For Utah. I have helped with our JAKES event and our Banquet for 20 years. In 2015 I received a national award the Roger Latham award is given to an individual that has dedicated their time and effort to conservation. This was a huge honor for me.

I have been on the Pro-Staff at Quaker Boy game calls and Mossy Oak for 20 years also representing Thermo cell, Scent-Lok, Grim Reaper Broadheads, Vortex Optics along with other outdoor companies. I have had show responsibilities at shows such as Rocky Mtn Elk, The Big Game Hunting Expo, Intermountain Sportsman’s expo and helped with the Shot show, and the National Wild Turkey Federation shows.

I enjoy doing seminars and helping people learn how to use calls and set ups to hunt turkeys and elk I especially like to teach young people and then have them come back a year later and show me their success in the field.
